Bukit Candi is a Pirate Outpost located in Harimau Peninsula along the East Indies. In Bukit Candi, you can find a vendor, a few goods and even treasure. The outpost is found north of Telok Penjarah in the Harimau Peninsula; simply head north, along the west coast of the region. You’ll find Bukit Candi halfway through.

It’s a small outpost, but you can meet a Rempah Warrior who sells valuable goods, such as the Mons Meg I Ship Weapon blueprint, a few cosmetics, food, and more, and there’s a cache with a few items, such as Repair Kits.

Lore of Bukit Candi[]

3rd May 1692,

To: Karel Van Kinckel, General of the second squadron of the Tanjung Fleet.
You lil’ tyfushond, you thought I’d never find you?
I thought you were dead. Dried like an ugly plum on the shores of Bukit Candi with our brothers. Me and one-eyed Bert made it to the Ghats. I bet you thought we were dead, you bastard.
Imagine our surprise when we read the papers. Van Kinckel scraping the shit off rubies, revealing the treasures of the Bukit Candi to the fucking crown?!
You wicked pleurislijer. You took their pardon and for what? Medals? General my arse, they should call you the king of traitors. In the past we would hunt together and now you’re killing the last pirates.

There is no honour in what you do. You’re just a coward thief hiding behind a uniform.
You think you know our tricks. Remember we know yours mate. Think twice next time you pour yourself a little port eh. We’re coming for you.

Bukit-Candi-Beach

Bukit Candi translates from Malay to Temple Hill in English. Candi itself refers to an Indonesian stone structure based on the Hindu single shrine, with a pyramidal tower above it and an ornamented portico, built primarily between the 8th and 15th centuries. Incorporating mandala designs, the candi was designed to mimic Meru, the holy mountain that was the abode of the gods. The largest, and most famous, candi is Borobudur, the 9th century Buddhist temple with seven terraces.
