Combat[]
As a member of the frigate ship class, the Royal Fortune is one of the largest types of ships in the game. It is capable of housing a large crew and can take a significant amount of damage. In addition, the ship has a special ability called Siege Mode, which allows it to fire tons of cannonballs without limit. She has the most hull strength out of the three main ships, but speed and maneuvering is what gives this massive ship a disadvantage over fast ships, perhaps the Black Horn

The Royal Fortune is a massive ships, mounting fourty-four cannons. She has a golden hull, reinforced to withstand substantial enemy damage, as said in the description. She has black sails, five sails on each.

In the trailer, the Royal Fortune is seen destroying a warship, only to be attacked by two Indian ships, one that could be belonging to Olivier "La Buse" Levasseur.
E3 2018 Cinematic Trailer[]
The Royal Fortune, captained by the Female Pirate Captain, is seen plundering ships, before leading a fleet of brigs and sloops. She is last seen sailing straight to a storm, when they spot a mysterious ship sailing towards them. With the Jaeger and the Black Horn, the Fortune tries to destroy this mysterious ship.
