Grande Falaise is a Pirate Outpost located in South Basin is the Open Seas. Keep sailing East into the open ocean past The Oubliette and you'll find yourself in the shores of the Grande Falaise. Areas near the Open Seas are more dangerous because of roving Rogue pirate ships and stormy seas.

The water is uncommonly hot in comparison to yesterday. I witnessed a thin plume emanating from the center of the basin. Red Isle folklore speaks of a dragon residing beneath the surface and most do not venture close to these waters. I suspect a more natural explanation.Vulcanic activity in this region has been observed as I believe that beneath the surface the water is boiling. Sulfuric odour detected.
