Kokok Terapung is a Pirate Outpost located in Central Basin along the Open Seas. Kokok Terapung is the lone pirate outpost in the Central Basin of the Open Seas. To reach this outpost, simply keep head east from Sainte-Anne. Caution should be advised when approaching the outpost, as not only do rogue pirates patrol these waters, but so do DMC ships, with a watchtower even being present up on a island near the outpost.

However aside from being a treasure map location and having a Rogue merchant who sells some blueprints, the Outpost has little of interest...

An account on the discovery of Floating Crow Island

On the 11th of July, 1687, our sloop, the Halliburton, made sail from Telok Penjarah, with fresh breeze. Expecting to be soon moored in the haven of liberty, Sainte-Anne, we were elated with joy.

But, alas! A dark haze fell and a monsoon of hellish fury beat upoin our ship. Catastrophe further rained when we struck a reef of rock. Captain Weymouth was swept overboard, swallowed by the angry sea. Our skipper was vanished.

I tell no tales when I say that the Captain’s hand did surface and pointed a spectral finger ahead. A breath later, the mist part and a hideous island, shaped as a crow’s claw, came before the half moon. We steered the ship cleared of a rock cropping and dropped anchors.

The ghostly forewarning did spare us from a most calamitous fate. At daylight, we took possession of Floating Crow Island and did careen here for repairs. Heartfelt thanks to our fallen skipper, Captain Weymouth, for saving his crew and ship whilst in the claws of death.

Crew Wanted[]

June 1695
If you’re reading this, that means you found a way to survive the Floating Crow, whose talons have snared many a ship and made corpses of sailors not worth their salt. That kind of grit is exactly what I’m looking for as part of my new pirate crew!

Sure, we’d be starting from scratch but how hard can it be? I’m Willem of the Van Cleve pirate brothers, out to make my own fortune!

Do you share my dream of riches and freedom on the high seas? All are welcome except for my older brothers – Hendrick too entitled to share a damn coconut and Marten, whose nagging would put Mother to shame. Unless you’re here to apologise, stick to your own isles up north.
