Ubisoft Singapore is a development studio in Singapore, founded in 2008 by Ubisoft. The studio is currently leading the development of Skull & Bones.

History[]

The studio was originally founded by a small team of people working at the company headquarters in Paris, who hoped to initiate game production in one of the most rapidly expanding areas of the world. The studios first project was Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time Re-Shelled, which was released in 2009 as a remark of the original arcade game. Following the success of Ubisoft's Assassins Creed, Ubisoft Singapore began working on the following games as they began attempting to make it the studios flagship game. Since taking up work on the series, they have worked on important elements, including all of the naval combat in Assassins Creed 3. Another game they worked on was Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Phantoms, which was shut down in 2016, four years after release.
